When I began Under an Urban Canopy, I was thinking about how cities breathe - how layers of colour, noise, and history stack up like paint. This contemporary abstract painting mixes vivid reds, golds, and blues with textured neutrals, creating a surface that feels both architectural and emotional. Fragments of numbers and layered marks drift through the composition, like half-remembered places. For me, it’s about the pulse of the modern city -structured yet spontaneous, chaotic but alive.
