The Sugar Factory is one of my most personal works. I grew up near the real thing - a place that once filled the air with sweetness and smoke. This mixed-media painting is layered with magentas, violets, and crimson, echoing both the warmth of memory and the erosion of time. Hidden text and architectural traces emerge through the surface, as if the building is still whispering. For me, it’s about industry, nostalgia, and how places that shaped us eventually dissolve into texture and colour.
